   Hi Cheryl-thanks so much for writing. How lucky you were to meet up with our guys and enjoy some more time with them and I am so happy my son was among them. When he called Wednesday evening he was so stressed out! I of course was worried. I figured out he had about 8 hours of sleep total since leaving Geiger and he said there were not enough hours in the day to get done what needed to be done. I encouraged him to try and lay down for 5 or 10 minutes and try some meditation. He said he would be ok once he settled in. He called last evening and sounded so, so much better and was looking forward to liberty this weekend. Now I am wondering if they will have to pack up again and evacuate to Georgia if Hurricane Ike heads their way next week. All Alex knows is that his MOS is 6400 at this point-he signed up for aviation electronics technician with his recruiter. His combat instructor told him he would be training for a new job title on the Osprey but he is not believing anything until he sees it. He said alot of the guys have not been given their exact MOS number yet. He said class starts next week. He also said he will be off 4 days at Thanksgiving and 2 weeks at Christmas! I am wondering if they have to use their leave time when the schools are closed? Well, again thanks for writing and lets keep in touch as we continue this rollercoaster ride following our Marines and their careers! It was great to meet you at Geiger! Betsy

   Ha I did get both! That's all right? Wonder what's happpened to mamaj? Hope she's alright from the Hanna storm. Did you manage to get any pictures at graduation?
